Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 in Meadville (Pennsylvania) was the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, as well as Joseph William Stone, a maker of tools and dies. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was in second grade when she was five years old. Stone was said to be academically gifted. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). A winner of Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone was moved into New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt in order to pursue a career as models. In just a few months, she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. The next step was Europe where she spent one year living within Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was disillusioned with the world of model in Europe took up acting as she lived in Europe. In her 20s, she starred in the film of Woody Allen "Stardust Memories" that received mixed praises.
